Cliff Einstein
The Einstein collection of contemporary art has been developed over four decades of searching the world for prime examples of contemporary art. A fluid combination of architecture and landscape has transformed what began as simply a residence into a unique setting for showcasing paintings, sculpture, drawings, conceptual works, and site-specific installations.
Cliff is remarkably fortunate to have James Turrell’s first free-standing Skyspace constructed at his property. The Bauhaus inspired property, developed over a 50-year period, presents multiple levels of gallery-like spaces allowing Cliff to present a wide range of internationally respected artists.
The Einstein collection has been featured in several international art publications. Art and Antiques Magazine has listed it among the 100 Best Collections in America, and The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, HG and PBS have documented it extensively
Cliff’s background includes a career as the noted creative director of an international advertising agency as well as a committed patron of the arts. He is currently Chairman Emeritus of The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and a long serving trustee of Otis College of Art and Design.
Cliff warmly welcomes you to share in his joy of collecting.
